Hotel Planter is small historic inn near the La Conner waterfront. They have twelve unique rooms. The inn keeper advised to book by March for availability in June. Book online here or by phone at 360-466-4710. No group rate available but has rooms available for the weekend of June 21, 2025.

La Conner WA is located in the beautiful Skagit Valley of Washington State.
It is about 1.75 hours from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and 45 minutes from the smaller Bellingham International Airport (BLI).
It is possible to travel by public transit from Seattle to nearby Mount Vernon, WA. We are glad to assist in coordinating rides from Mount Vernon if you do not want to rent a car in Seattle.
There are lots of things to explore in the Skagit Valley. Hiking, shops, walks, whale watching & other nautical adventures, local history museums. More recommendations coming soon!
The Anacortes Community Forest Lands have plentiful and beautiful hiking options. Trail maps are available here. Specific route recommendations forthcoming.
